Conditions of Class Attendance 2024
The following information is provided to make your pottery experience as enjoyable as possible. Class fees are paid for tuition, materials, and two firings of your work a bisque and a glaze firing. When participating in my classes you will make around 8 -12 pieces of work as a beginner or more if you are a continuing or advanced student. Excess made in addition to this allowance will incur fees as stated below and will incur further charges.
Included in Class Fees
Included in class fees - are clay, glazes, bisque, and glaze firing of 12 pieces of pottery.
Any further work made above this quota will incur further fees.
My classes cater to shift workers and fly-in fly-out, if this is you feel free to discuss your needs to attend my classes.
Class fees are paid for you to attend classes. Your induction of working safely with clay, does not cover bringing children, parents, and friends along to classes. Under no circumstances should you bring any person to a class who has not enrolled and registered for that class. We offer a generous catchup classes policy to cater for unforeseen circumstances.
Schedule of Classes
If you miss classes for any reason due to work, travel, or health reasons I will accommodate these changes by providing you with an alternative class to attend on another day/evening class. Please contact your class tutor in the first instance.
If you are unable to attend a class please text Deidre on 0412399040.
I am only able to honour this commitment to you over a three-month period from the commencement date of your classes.
Collection of Pottery
Due to limited storage space in the studio and the fact that I now conduct numerous classes a week, I am only able to keep your pottery for a period of three months from the end date of your class. Unfortunately, after this time if I have not heard from you and no arrangements have been made to collect your work, I will have to dispose of your work. This applies to all work, bisque-fired and glazed work. You can collect and keep your bisque fired work and glaze it at a mutually agreeable date in the future.
Occupational Health & Safety
Please wear closed in shoes, no thongs, slappers, Crocs or sandals. Bring an apron or towel or wear old clothes, the clay will wash out of your clothes.
